- Usages:
- Wall must be clean and dry
- Center and apply tape over length of joint and pressing firmly
- Apply generous first coat of compound over tape and through mesh making to completely fill joint crevice
- When joint has been completely filled wipe off any excess compound with drywall knife leaving enough to cover tape
- Dry completely and then sand slightly
- Apply sufficient thin finishing coats to produce smooth wall surface
- Cut of butted boards do not have tapered edge
- Special care must be taken to assure proper compound penetration of all joints
- May result in slight build-up of compound that will require increased amount of edge feathering
- Cautions:
- Failure to completely fill joint may result in cracking
- Use setting-type compound
